Levitra use
Levitra is an oral medication used for treating erectile dysfunction (ED) better known as male impotence. Levitra works by stimulating the blood flow into the penile shaft which results in strong durable erections. It happens only when a man is sexually stimulated and won't result in erection just by taking it. Sexual desire is the key to the effectiveness of Levitra.
Taking Levitra
Levitra should be taken only before sexual intercourse, usually half an hour. Levitra is not for taking daily or according to any schedule.
Missed dose
There's no such thing as missed dose with Levitra because is should be taken only when needed. Avoid taking a double dose at once.

Levitra should be stored at room temperature.
Possible Levitra side-effects
Levitra doesn't have any characteristic side-effects that should be anticipated. If you observe any strange symptoms while using Levitra inform your doctor about them as soon as possible. Some side-effects that are possible with Levitra: indigestion, flu symptoms, flushing, headache, runny nose, sinus inflammation.
Levitra warnings and precautions
If you have any heart problems, history of attacks, strokes and other cardiac issues consult with your doctor first to set the safe dosage for you. In case you have heart problems that make sex dangerous it is most probably that you will be restricted from using Levitra (or any other ED medication). If you develop any cardiac symptoms during sex after taking Levitra contact your doctor immediately.
In case you have serious kidney or liver issues, bleeding disorders, stomach ulcer, or an inherited retinal disorder such as retinitis pigmentosa, you should exercise extreme caution when taking Levitra. There's no sufficient data on the safety of Levitra in these circumstances.
Quite rarely Levitra may cause prolonged and painful erections that are called priapism. In case you develop an erection that won't go for more than 4 hours seek medical assistance immediately. Priapism can be harmful to your penis and cause impotence.
In case you have a health condition that may cause prolonged erections like sickle cell anemia, multiple myeloma, or leukemia, you should be very cautious when using Levitra. If you have a deformed penis or Peyronie's disease you should also be very attentive when using Levitra.
Overdose
There are no known reports about Levitra overdose. However a special clinical study has revealed that a single 120-milligram dose of Levitra has lead to side-effects such as vision problems, back and muscle pain. Although it is quite hard to overdose with Levitra you should remember that taking any drug in excess will damage your health.
